Another protest song, comparing people who come from wealthy parents with good social connections to so many of us who live paycheque to paycheque. It's for good friends who've been kicked out of their rentals, and who have been one step from homelessness as a result. The 'blood sucking parasites' are those who make their money by having so much control over the lives of people so much poorer than them - that certain sub-section of landlords who are greedy and ruthless.

Though I personally don't think that landlords should exist, I don't want to point the finger at all landlords - this is not personally aimed at anyone, and I do want to recognise that in this rental crisis, there have been good landlords who've stuck by their tenants and tried to do the right thing by them. This is for the other sort of landlords, who put food on their table by taking it off my figurative table.
